Recent search work for businesses, brands and charities.
Eight times the enquiries from a website built for search
A RICS-regulated building surveying practice
more enquiries a month
of enquiries become instructions
new work a month
The brief
The practice had a four-page site on a website builder, and almost all its search traffic came from people who already knew its name. It wanted to rank for local surveying searches, especially home surveys.
What we did
We reviewed the old site, then turned the client's material into a full set of service pages, local area pages, a recent projects page, and quote and contact forms. SEO was part of the build from the start, with page titles and descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, redirects from the old addresses and one main web address. We also redrew the logo and built the practice's standard templates.
The result
Enquiries went from about one a month to around eight, mostly for home surveys, and more people now email after finding the practice online. Around six a month become instructions, with surveys priced from £650 to £3,200, an average of about £1,925 each. Add about £1,500 a month in extra commercial work and that is more than £13,000 a month in new work, with the practice's workload up by around half.
What we delivered
- A 26-page website, quick to load on a phone
- Service pages and local area pages
- A quote form that pre-selects the survey type
- Structured data, redirects and a sitemap
- A move to free hosting from a paid website builder
We were venturing into a new business stream and immediately we received enquiries and traffic solely as a result of the website.
Search content that sold a software subscription
A subscription software brand
tracked sales in 12 months
purchases
The brief
A subscription software brand wanted more paying customers from search, without relying on paid ads.
What we did
We researched the searches people make in the days before buying, then planned, wrote and ranked content that answered their questions directly, with clear next steps. We kept it updated every month as offers and features changed.
What we delivered
- Content planned around buying-stage searches
- Page one rankings for competitive searches
- Monthly updates to keep pages accurate
- Sales tracked through to purchase
Consultancy pages for a national charity
A national charity with a paid advisory service
The brief
The charity advises other charities and community groups on property, and wanted more enquiries, and better ones, for its paid consultancy. Its visitors are often under pressure and aren't sure what help they need.
What we did
We ran a discovery session and a review, then rewrote the pages, grouping the services into a clearer structure instead of one page per service. We advised on how to present paid services when fixed prices can't be published, and set out a plan for measuring enquiries.
What we delivered
- A new home page and eight consultancy pages
- Page titles, descriptions and internal links
- A call-to-action plan for each page
- Notes for the charity's team on publishing
Their work was excellent - accessible to our target market and cost effective.
An online shop built around search
A ceramics studio
The brief
A handmade ceramics studio wanted more sales from its own website, from local visitors and from buyers across the UK.
What we did
We moved the shop to a new e-commerce platform, grouped dozens of listings into clear products with options, and built collection and landing pages around the searches its customers make, from gifts to specific pieces. Every page and product has its own title and description, plus structured data for the business.
What we delivered
- A new online shop
- Collection pages and search landing pages
- Titles, descriptions and structured data throughout
- Redirects from the old shop's addresses
Trivas Media supported us when we developed our logo and formed our standard templates as well as creating and then subsequently developing our website. We were venturing into a new business stream and immediately we received enquiries and traffic solely as a result of the website, the terminology used and the expertise in understanding how Google and other search engines function. The support, knowledge and personal nature really sets them apart.
[We are] delighted with the expert support we have received from Trivas Media. The brief was to update the information about our expert property consultancy for charities. Trivas certainly delivered. Their work was excellent - accessible to our target market and cost effective. Thank you, Trivas.
